Resilient

A 10-week trauma-informed group supporting nervous system regulation, emotional stabilization, and self-compassion-based recovery from chronic stress, overwhelm, and trauma responses.

Many people are living with a nervous system that feels chronically activated, overwhelmed, shut down, or exhausted.Even with insight or self-awareness, coping strategies, or past therapy, the body may continue to respond as though stress is constant or difficult to regulate.

Resilient is a structured 10-week trauma-informed group program designed to support nervous system regulation and emotional stabilization through somatic practices, breathwork, nervous system education, and the cultivation of self-compassion as a core embodied skill.

This series offers practical, embodied tools and experiential practices to help you cultivate greater capacity, flexibility, and a kinder relationship with yourself in everyday life. Teachings will be informed by the work of Kristen Neff (self-compassion), Internal Family Systems (parts work), Somatic Experiencing (body-oriented processing and awareness) and neuroscience. Practices will include breathwork, body  awareness and loving-kindness meditations, and journalling. There will be opportunities for group sharing and connection.

Who this is for

This program may be supportive if you:

  • experience chronic stress, anxiety, or emotional overwhelm

  • feel shutdown, numb, or fatigued under pressure

  • notice strong body-based stress responses in relationships or daily life

  • have done therapy but still struggle with nervous system regulation

  • are looking for structured, skills-based, trauma-informed group support

  •

Why self-compassion is central to this work

Many nervous system patterns are reinforced by internal pressure, self-criticism, and shame responses during stress activation. In this program, self-compassion is not treated as an “add-on,” but as a core regulation capacity that supports the nervous system in shifting out of survival states and into greater emotional safety. This includes developing the ability to meet stress responses with greater internal steadiness, care, and relational safety toward yourself.

Why group work supports regulation

Healing and nervous system regulation are strengthened through both skill-building and relational safety.

A group environment offers:

  • normalization of experience, reducing shame and isolation

  • opportunities for co-regulation within a safe, structured setting

  • consistent repetition of regulation practices over time

  • increased accessibility compared to individual therapy

  • shared learning and integration within a contained environment

Program format

  • 10 weekly group sessions

  • trauma-informed facilitation

  • small group size for safety and support

  • experiential, somatic, and breath-based practices

  • structured integration and reflection components
